About the Book

This is a guide to help you access your deep inner wisdom — your inner teacher — and to allow your own unique creativity and magic to burst forth exuberantly and spontaneously from your very essence.

There are many means and many reasons to access this reservoir within each of us, but the Seed Thought practice shared in this book is a simple, safe, and profound process to open those doors.

A Seed Thought is a sacred riddle — a phrase or a few lines that have the power to trigger new understanding, personal growth, and activation of your most magical self. As you contemplate it, it has the power to catapult you deep into your own inner knowing.

These sacred riddles are fertile ground for writing, art, song, choreography, building wondrous structures, or any mode of creating that brings both aliveness and healing to your heart. Profound, but also very practical, this practice may simply provide the impetus to get something done that you’ve been putting off for too long.

About Joan

Joan Jackson is a mystic, teacher, and writer who lives in the Gold Country in Northern California in a little old Queen Anne farmhouse surrounded by way too many weeds and a giant sycamore tree.

She disembarked from careers in journalism, communications management, and consulting to devote full time to supporting others in their life transitions. Now a coach, intuitive consultant, hypnotherapist, and group facilitator, Joan holds a bachelor’s degree in education, a master’s in business, and an eclectic collection of certifications.

She has a brilliant, adventurous daughter, two truly magical grandchildren, and a dog who stalks and slays flies, no matter the chaos she leaves in her wake.

Seed Thoughts have been woven into Joan’s soul work for decades.
